Biofield Tuning
Biofield Tuning is the practice of using weighted and unweighted tuning forks on, and around, the body. As a Biofield Tuning Practitioner, I have been trained to listen, follow and deeply sense into the energy signatures and patterns around a person’s body with tuning forks. To put it simply, I tune the human body, much like a musician would tune their instrument. The modern world and all of its stressors can undermine the natural healthy rhythm of the human body, resulting in illness, pain and suffering. The tuning fork acts as a mirror by reflecting a tone that it finds in the field (an area that is roughly 5-6 feet around a person) and then harmonizes the tone, bringing the area into balance and flow. The fork also acts as a magnet, picking up any energy patterns that may be stuck in the person’s energy field, and brings the energy back to the body to be integrated and circulated. As a result, the client has access to more joy, ease, strength and wellbeing.
Many of my clients have felt shifts after a single session, but the most dramatic changes appear after three sessions. Each tuning session builds upon the previous session, strengthening the body’s coherence and capacity, and can be scheduled one to two weeks apart from each other. If you are interested in learning more about the art of Biofield Tuning, you can read Eileen McKusick’s books: Tuning the Human Biofield and Electric Body, Electric Health, or go to the Biofield Tuning website.
Much like other energy healing modalities, you do not need to be in-person for your session. I offer both distant and in-person sessions at my office in St. Paul, MN. If you are interested in scheduling your first session or purchasing a package of three sessions, fill out my Biofield Tuning Intake Form and Appointment Request Form.
Sonic Anatomy
Sonic Anatomy is a new and evolving practice that was created by Eileen McKusick and The Brothers Koren, as a way to sing/tone into areas of constriction in the body, releasing trapped emotions and stuck energy. It is an empowering method that can help clients regain their voice, literally and metaphorically. So many of us have shut down our authentic selves and disconnected from the wisdom of our bodies, which can create a sense of disharmony, dysregulation and confusion. Sonic Anatomy aims to reconnect our mind-body awareness, releasing tension, stress and worry while infusing our entire being with more confidence, resilience and joy. For more information about Eileen’s work with singing and toning, check out this article.
In sessions, I invite clients to sing/tone certain sounds into specific areas of their body when their body indicates constriction, density or a block. I then teach them how to utilize the sounds when they find themselves navigating sensations, memories or triggering events, as a way to move the stagnant or dense energy. My goal is to help my clients create an ever-expanding toolbox that can support them in times of stress, discomfort or pain.
Eileen and The Brothers Koren offer a class called Sing the Body Electric, whereby anyone can learn the tones and demi-tones they have discovered/uncovered. As a Sonic Anatomy Guide, I have taken an additional course that focuses on integrating the information from the Sonic Anatomy map into sessions with clients and allows me to share and teach the material I have learned.
Crystal Singing Bowls
Crystal Singing Bowls can be integrated into any type of session; they are always available. I tend to use them at the end of a session to clear any energy in the room and invite a deeper sense of relaxation before heading out the door. As a Karuna Reiki Master, I can imbue the sound of the singing bowls with specific Reiki symbols, creating a unique sound bath experience. I also have a crystal triangle, a buffalo drum and cast iron singing bowls, which impart a very different type of vibration and energy at the end of a session.
